Motifs include wonderfully detailed examples of a lady, gentleman, the King in a tent, a gent holding a scroll entitled 'The Law', birds, flowers, plants, a lion, a leopard, butterflies, a man in a boat fishing, a mermaid surrounded by raisedwork seaweed, etc. A castle can be seen in the background. Framed in an old wooden frame with rippled old glass. Mounting: The embroidery is tacked to a wood stretcher frame. Frame backed with chipboard.
