Stitched to card with brown paper dust cover.

The sampler is worked in fine wool and silk on canvas ground, in a variety of stitches including Algerian eye.

heart,

peacocks

A few stains and uniform age darkening of the ground.

Minor stitch losses to the divider lines, alphabets, numbers and family initials.

Unevenly stretched.

Frame showing some wear, but is structurally sound and in our opinion could be hung 'as is'.
