Unframed.

The sampler is worked in wool on canvas ground, in cross stitch throughout.

Cross linked chain border.

Colours blue, burgundy and gold.

Alphabets A-Z in upper case and lower case and numbers 1-10.

Signed and dated

'M. Summers.aged 10. 1879'.

CONDITION: Good. No holes. No stains other than slight uniform age darkening of the ground. No stitch losses.

One thread is loose from the ground.

Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading.

No colour run.
