The sampler is worked in wool on canvas ground.

Simple line border.

Colours purple, maroon, lilac, yellow, black, pink, light green, blue and green.

Alphabets A-Z in upper case and lower case, numbers 1-10 and family initials.

Signed

'E E Sanders Aged 10'.

A few motifs including crowns, hearts, a dog, a bird, a flower and a cross.

CONDITION: Generally Good. No holes. A few pale patchy stains.

Stitch losses to the border, divider lines, alphabets and motifs.

Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading. No colour run.
