The sampler is worked in fine wool and silk on canvas ground, in cross stitch and Algerian eye.
No border, divider lines in various patterns.
Colours maroon, red, yellow, green, pale blue, gold, black, pink, purple, magenta, blue and copper.
Alphabets A-Z in uppercase and lower case.
Verse reads

Three flower motifs.
CONDITION: Generally good. No holes. A few stains, and uniform age darkening of the ground.
Some stitch losses to the divider lines, letters of the alphabets, verse and signature.
Colours are mostly good and strong with no noticeable fading. The silks bright and glossy. No colour run.
