Unframed with no glass. Loose with no backing.
The sampler has multiple alphabets A-Z in uppercase and lower case with numbers 1-8.
Signed and dated "Charlotte Meaders Sampler 1799".
Divider lines in a number of patterns.
The sampler is worked in fine green silk threads throughout.
CONDTION: Slightly distressed.
No holes, but a couple of small, old repairs to the sampler, illustrated.
No stains.
A couple of minor stitch losses to letters of the alphabets.
Colours are slightly faded, but still well defined.
Colour run to the green threads, worst illustrated.
