A-Z Alphabet in upper and lower cases and large upper case A to H in Algerian eye stitch.

Numbers from 1 to 9.

Dated 'In 1816'

Beautiful colour selection: red, pink, indigo, violet, green, cyan, navy blue, yellow, magenta, brown, light green, white. Almost nil fading. No staining. No colour run. Motifs include: butterflies, beautifully embroidered, flower baskets, crowns, flowers with stems.

 

Stitch losses in two places in the red border.

Stitch losses in the 'q', 'A', 'B','h', '3', '4', top right hand side, and flower pot at bottom of sampler.

Possibly repair work, bottom left of sampler.
