1879 Needlework Panel by M Crawford
Victorian, dated 1879. 15.5ins by 8.75ins wide. Framed in a modern 'plastic over wood' frame with glass.
Fixed to card with chipboard dust cover.
Entitled 'Useful Work' and worked in red cotton on linen ground.
Signed and dated 'M Crawford 1879'.
Includes examples of needlework,
button holes,
darning and a gathered frill along the top.
CONDITION: Very Good. No holes. No stains. No stitch losses. No colour run.
Frame in very good condition, ready to hang.
