Rene Lalique clear glass, black patinated perfume bottle. 'Sur Deux Notes' design. This design features flowers rising up the sides of the bottle and a striking stopper in the shape of an enlongated pyramid. Moulded makers mark, 'LALIQUE'. Engraved numbers to the underside - looks like '737'. Book reference: 'R. LALIQUE Catalogue Raisonné De L'Oeuvre De Verre', by Felix Marcilhac. Les Editions De L'Amateur. Figure Renaud. (N.B - this design was used by different perfume makers from 1920-1940. We are not sure which perfume maker this bottle was used by, but we have attributed it to Renaud.)
Condition
Very good. Tiny, minute nibbles on inner rim, from inserting stopper. Patina is worn in places. Black patina possibly later refreshed - is not water-fast. Unless already mentioned here, no other chips, cracks, wear, repairs, restorations or original manufacturing effects.
