Staffordshire Pearlware Hope figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 7.1ins high, 3ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features Hope, stood on a square base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Open bottomed.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Abrasion to her nose and chin.

Paint losses to her robe.

KILN EFFECTS: shallow firing crack to her left ankle.

RESTORATION. Remodelled part of anchor.
