pre-Victorian, circa 1800. 5.9ins high, 2.2ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Neale Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure with a mythological theme which features

Apollo playing the lyre, stood on a square base.

The piece is titled, 'APOLLO' .

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside. This piece represents the Greek God of music.

Maker's marks to the underside.

CONDITION: Good.

Small flakes to base

and hair garland.

Minor abrasions to reverse.

RESTORATION. Old filled chip to base rim.
