pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4.1ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware pastille burner which features a cottage with hand-painted flowers with a separate thatched roof, stood on a footed base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes to the underside and roof.
CONDITION: Roof: Good. No restoration. Small flake to tip of window.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the interior of one chimney, and a few also to the underside of roof.
Cottage: Generally good. Bruise to reverse inner rim.
Small flake to top of porch roof.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to front right corner.
