Circa 1880. 9.4ins high, 14ins wide, 2.4ins depth. French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features a crayfish, snake, lizard, insects, shells and leaves.
Colouration: blue, green, grey, are predominant.
CONDITION: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
Remodelled 4 legs and antennae to crayfish.
Lizard's head remodelled.
