Victorian, circa 1890. 5.9ins high, 7.9ins wide, 1.2ins depth. Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica dish which features four fish to the outer rim.
Colouration: green, blue, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Cunha pottery.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
A few small flakes tiny flakes to the fish and under rim.
KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the front;
a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to one of the fish.
