Majolica Figure of a Girl

Circa 1890. 8.1ins high, 3.3ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Majolica posy holder which features a girl stood on circular base.

Colouration: green, white, pale blue, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '1009'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. A few small flakes to water jug and clothing.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to side of base;

kiln soot caught in the glaze to the top of lady's head;

glaze run to some of the glazes.
