Worcester Majolica Frog, Monkey and Tortoise Vase

Victorian, circa 1880. 9.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Royal Worcester Majolica vase which features a frog riding on the back of a monkey, which is sitting on the back of a tortoise. A bamboo vase behind.

Colouration: green, brown, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Royal Worcester pottery. Bears a pattern number, '572'.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Pristine. No restoration. Small flake to ground.
