Minton Majolica Fish Plate

Victorian, circa 1869. 10ins high, 10ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Minton Majolica plate which features a border of fish and scallop shells.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1496'.

English diamond registration mark for the date 21/01/1869. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

RESTORATION. Section of rim reglued and join retouched.
