Wedgwood Majolica Basket

Victorian, circa 1868. 15.7ins high, 9.6ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica basket which features mottled leaves and twig handle.

Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1868.

CONDITION: Good.

Small flake to under rim of leaf.

Slight wear to handle and interior.

RESTORATION. Retouched flake to tip of small leaf.
