Pair Staffordshire 'Chunky' White and Gilt Spaniels

Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 12.4ins high, 8.7ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.

White and gilt version. Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.

Vent holes to the underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to front paws.
