Staffordshire church with clock tower spill vase

Staffordshire Pottery spill vase which features a church decorated with flowers, stood on an oval base. Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

Generally good. No restoration. Chips to roof finials and both roof flowers.

Some paint losses to door and end window.

Rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to underside of base edge and one corner of church wall;

over glazed shrinkage line next to church door;

kiln soot caught in the glaze.
