Victorian, circa 1880. 15ins high, 22ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Choisy French Palissy Majolica charger which features fish, crustaceans, a frog, a tortoise, a beetle, a snail, shells and foliage. Water effect ground.
Colouration: brown, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Choisy pottery.
