Majolica Nautilus Shell Sauceboat

Victorian, circa 1880. 5.3ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Majolica sauceboat which features a nautilus shell

supported by a coral and shell footed base.

Colouration: turquoise, pink, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

A couple of small flake to the footed base;

glaze misses to the interior and exterior of the shell;

a few glaze runs to the base;

base slightly misshapen.
