Colouration: turquoise, brown, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '1496'. English diamond registration mark for the date 21/01/1869.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to one shell and centre;
slightly stained crazing to the centre.
