Wedgwood Majolica Horse Chestnut Plate with pierced rim

Victorian, circa 1882. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features horse chestnuts and foliage to the front.

Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1882.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to interior.
