Majolica Fish and Seaweed Ocean Platter

Victorian, circa 1880. 10.4ins high, 13ins wide, 2ins depth.

Majolica platter which features a fish and seaweed to the front, a rolling wave border to the rim.

Colouration: cobalt blue, dark pink, grey, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Bruise to the rim.

Slight wear to front.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the front;

a few touch marks to the front;

faint shrinkage lines to the reverse.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to rim.
