French Majolica Cockerels With Corn Platter

Circa 1890. 13.8ins high, 18.9ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Unidentified French Majolica platter which features two cockerels amongst corn.

Colouration: ochre, green, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Flaking to rim.

Flake to corn.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze.
