
Victorian, circa 1879. 8.5ins high, 8.5ins wide, 1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features vegetables separated with forks. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, puce, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.
Generally good. No restoration. Tight hairline to rim.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECT: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground.
