Minton Majolica Strawberry Plate

Victorian, circa 1867. 0.9ins high, 8.2ins wide, 8.6ins depth.

Minton Majolica dish which features strawberry fruit, flowers and leaves.

Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1330'. English diamond registration mark for the date 03/04/1867. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

Condition

Generally good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.

Filled chip to foot on underside.
