
Victorian, circa 1860. 7.7ins high, 5.3ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features Lady Hester Stanhope riding a camel with Dr Meryon by their side, stood on a shaped base.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to man's nose.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack with associated flaking to the underside of base.
RESTORATION. Camel's tail remodelled.
Retouched paint losses to clothing and camel.
