Victorian, circa 1840. 5.7ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery porcellaneous figure which features a poodle in a playful pose, crouched on a square base. Dull gilt base line.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
CONDITION: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the shredded clay.
RESTORATION. Poodle reglued to base and join retouched, corner of base reguled and join retouched.
Stabilised and retouched two cracks to the base.
