Minton Majolica cup & saucer which features lily pads.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, turquoise, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 05/04/1872.

Condition

Cup: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: slightly uneven glaze application to cobalt ground.

Saucer: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to interior.

KILN EFFECTS: small glaze misses to the under rim.
