Delphin Massier Majolica Elephant figure

Victorian, circa 1900. 5.5ins high, 9.4ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica figural which features a walking elephant.

Colouration: cream, pink, brown, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Chip to underside of hind, right foot (barely visible when stood upright).

Flake to hind, right foot.

Scratch to elephant's back.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze accumulation to both ears and under stomach.

RESTORATION: filled chip to tip of left tusk and left, front foot;

retouched flakes to right tusk and ears.
