Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure which features a deer, recumbent on a shaped hollow base.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Open bottomed.
Good. Minor flakes and chips to leaves on bocage and right hind hoof.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the right hind knee and to top of deer's head;
touch marks to the reverse;
glaze pops to the front of the base.
RESTORATION. Left ear reglued and join retouched.
