Victorian, circa 1860. 4.4ins high, 1.7ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a begging spaniel, seated on a circular base.
Russet and white version. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Small chip to reverse.
Paint losses to russet markings.
Slight wear to reverse and legs.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to face
and upper base;
flecks of stray coloured glaze.
