Victorian, circa 1860. 6.7ins high, 3ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire figure with a maritime theme which features a young sailor,
stood on a circular base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the base and reverse;
tiny glaze pops to boy's jacket;
a couple of small shrinkage crack to underside,
and left wrist.
RESTORATION. Head reglued and join retouched.
