Pair Staffordshire Pottery dogs - St. Bernards

Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 5.1ins high, 7.1ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature St. Bernard dogs, stood directly on the ground, no base. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good. Some small paint losses to tongue.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark dog's back.

RESTORATION: both left legs reglued at the knees and joins retouched;

retouched paint losses to markings.

Left facing: Good. KILN EFFECTS: two small firing holes to reverse.

RESTORATION: retouched paint losses to markings and tongue.
