
pre-Victorian, circa 1780. 4.7ins high, 2.6ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire creamware figure which features a young boy leaning on a barrel,
stood on a circular base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Small flake to boy's nose
and a couple to the lower base edge.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the lower base edge,
one to barrel
and one to boy's right foot.
