Victorian, circa 1860. 5.3ins high, 4.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a red setter dog, lying before a sheaf of corn, resting on an oblong base.
Multi-coloured version.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to rim of spill.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing, some slightly stained to the reverse;
over glazed chips to the reverse lower base edge.
RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to the dog, spill and ground.
