Staffordshire quill holder which features a parrot sat on a tree stump with a lamb below, recumbent on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Good. Small flake to rim of inkwell.
KILN EFFECTS: faint, over glazed shrinkage lines to the reverse and around lamb;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the parrot.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to base at reverse.
Retouched paint losses to parrot's tail, beak and left wing.
