Staffordshire figure which features a cat, recumbent on an oblong base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
Generally good. Some flakes and abrasions to the front and reverse.
A few paint losses to cat's face and ground.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines along the mold join to both sides and reverse of base.
RESTORATION. Old restoration to stabilise and retouch hairlines to cat's back,right side and head at reverse.
