Staffordshire Pottery group of a travelling family

Victorian, circa 1860. 11.8ins high, 8.3ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a family under an arbour, seated on a shaped base.

Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to arbour.

Filled chip to base front.

Remodelled section of shredded clay to reverse of arbour.

One end to man's musical instrument reglued and join retouched.

Retouched paint losses to black enamels and ground.
