Victorian, circa 1867. 8.5ins high, 5.9ins wide, 5.1ins depth.

Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features a pineapple.

Colouration: ochre, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '538'. English diamond registration mark for the date 05/10/1858. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

Condition

Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: firing hole to the handle;

over glazed shrinkage line to the interior;

glaze pops to the ground under handle.
