Victorian, circa 1879. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features three birds each perched on a flowering branch. Colouration: turquoise, cream, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2792 6'. English diamond registration mark for the date 10/??/1876.
Very good. No restoration. Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the interior;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground;
minor glaze run to the cobalt blue glaze.
