Victorian, circa 1858. 6.7ins high, 7.5ins wide, 4.4ins depth. Minton Majolica salt which features kissing cherubs seated on two shells. Colouration: lilac, brown, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '318'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1858.
Good. KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the interior;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the cherubs.
