Brown Westhead Moore Majolica dragon & bird vase

Victorian, circa 1870. 11.6ins high, 4.9ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Brown Westhead Moore & Co Majolica vase which features a oriental dragon and a bird. Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, 'B 318'.

Condition

Good. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to some of the enamels;

glaze miss to the dragon's left foot;

flecks of stray coloured cobalt glaze to the exterior.

RESTORATION: Filled chip to rim.

Filled chips and retouched flakes to foot rim.
