Staffordshire spaniel, pup and kennel group

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.7ins high, 3.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire group which features a spaniel and pup, next to their kennel, recumbent on a shaped base.





Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.





Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Some paint losses to spaniel's head and kennel roof.





KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to base front;



kiln soot caught in the glaze.
