Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 3.9ins high, 3.5ins wide, 2ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel with a game bird, seated on an oval base. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Right facing: Good. Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
firing hole to top of right ear;
craze line along raised leg.
RESTORATION: Retouched paint losses to bird.
Left facing: Good. Small flakes to nose and top of right ear.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECT: notable crazing.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched shrinkage crack to front and underside of base.
