Staffordshire 'Lord Raglan' figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 10.7ins high, 7.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth.

Staffordshire figure with a military theme which features Lord Raglan on horseback, stood on a shaped base.



The piece is titled, 'LORD RAGLAN' . Dull gilt titles and embellishment.

Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Fair. Rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to his lap.



RESTORATION. His head reglued and join retouched.





Stabilised and retouched cracks around his waist, legs and though the horse's chest and left hind ankle.











Filled two chips to base edge at reverse.



Retouched paint loss to black enamel.
