Staffordshire dog on stool with pups

Victorian, circa 1850. 3.9ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous group which features a mother dog perched on a stool,
with her two puppies on the floor below, stood on a rectangular base.

Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

KILN EFFECT: couple of shrinkage lines to the stool cushion.

RESTORATION: Black and white pup reglued and join retouched, where it meets the stool leg.

Russet and white pup's tail remodelled.

Three stool legs reglued at the base and joins retouched.
