Staffordshire kissing couple under umbrella figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 14ins high, 2.8ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a kissing couple under an umbrella, stood on a circular base.



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

A few paint losses to lady's hair.



Some rubbing to gilt.





KILN EFFECTS: small shrinkage line to left side of man.



RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline and bruise to base.







Filled chips to rim of umbrella.
